Ramadhan and Memory

Ramadhan Al-Mubarak

Different feeling I felt from celebrating Ramadhan while having to experience  it in others country. . The most unforgettable moment while celebrating Ramadhan is went I was in Indonesia. Yes, Indonesia is not on my first list to live in it which I do much prefer my country itself. But being parts of it before is such an amazing story to have. Thank you ;)

6.00 : Story telling started with Kak Sofea who likes to tells us about ghost story happens in her dormitory back in Malaysia. To excited to listen makes us sometimes feels that "the things" are staring at us  during that time. Hahaha...I'm telling you, Malaysian Embassy at Jakarta is the ex-burial ground. Some of the big trees are forbidden to cut down because "the things" will disturb your life. erk!
7.00 : Change our uniform to sport attire and will be joining one of Uncle to jog around the Embassy. It is fun because we can jog out of the embassy compound and from there we can learn how the Indonesian live their life. Respect!

Though we are girls, but we prefer to play something that is challenging and makes us sweat.
6.30 : Home
7.00 : Fast breaking - Homemade dish - Yummy! Maghrib by own.
8.00 : Gather back at the mosque for Isha' prayer. Later perform Tarawikh for 8 rakaat.

10.30 : Continue with Tadarus up to 1-2 juzuk.
11.00 : Home sweet Home. (For parent only, while us still playing and story telling at the information desk until one of us sleepy and all of us going home)

Packed was it?

Friday is a special day for everyone during Ramadhan because we will break our fast together in the big hall. Kids are excited because will meet other kids who stay outside from the embassy. We gather and spent time together playing. Mommies and Daddies joining the Islamic forum and us children play Hide and Seek. The hall is too big and it is double-storey building completed with podium, chairs, curtains, air conditioning and etc. Usually we will divide the team by gender because both the teams are strong.

Top 10 Productive Ramadhan

The first year celebrating Ramadhan at the Embassy, we are allowed to play firework. But due to some conspiracy, it's been banned.

But its not a big deal for us as we can still playing around and be happy as always...To bring back the memory was such a pleasure for me. The sweetness of it never fade thought it's already happen past 12 years ago. Be there with my friend, seek for our time together with playing, studying and lepak-ing will kept deep down in my heart. Thank you friend. Thank you Memories, Thank you Jakarta, Thank you Ramadhan...Till we meet again next year...InsyaAllah.

For the newbie plus reminder for the other and for myself too. ;)

No more Idea better stop here.

Assalamualaikum.

Nabilah.
